How do I get bps for the Arc?
For other Great Buildings you can Aid other players or participate in the Events and receive blueprints. But for the Arc you need to donate directly to other Arcs and end up in one of the reward positions when the owner flips the building to the next level.
Your guild probably has many different threads for building donations; you just need to look specifically for Arcs. 1.9 Threads are very good, if your guild has one. If your guild has several threads like this, with different donation levels, look for the lowest percentage available. In a 1.7 thread, for example, your fp donation is lower and the owner has to donate more. For Arc bp hunters this is better.
Some guilds might have something like an Anything Goes thread. Check your own rules, but usually you can donate any amount of fps in a thread like this. You would want to “lock in” your position, meaning you put enough fps on so that no one else can pass you no matter how many fps they add.
To lock in your spot:
- Check how many fps are still needed to flip the building (call this A).
- Look at the current donations. Is there anyone there already with a donation less than A?
- If so, find the highest donation that is still less than A and add that number to A.
- Divide A in half; round up if you need to.
- Donate that number.
NOTE: Most guilds have a rule against making random donations to guild members’ buildings. This means don’t donate to other guild members outside of established guild threads, or a direct agreement with the building’s owner. Check with your guild for your own rules. This usually extends to Friends as well, but most people feel Neighbours’ buildings are open for any donations – just be aware you might get blasted with a nasty message if the building owner objects!
